Weapon & Combat Systems Engineering

BCI supports government acquisition managers responsible for sensors, weapons, human computer interfaces and computer programs leading to systems certification and acquisition milestone decisions. We provide test plans, requirements tracing, program schedules, technical briefings, and analytic documentation.

Human Systems Integration

Our team of human factors engineers and operational subject matter experts works alongside developers and system engineers to ensure the usability, efficiency, and effectiveness of tomorrow’s warfighting systems. We identify and document the needs of the user community and incorporate them into the development and evaluation of US military systems.

Interoperability Engineering

BCI provides teams of Navy combat systems and operational experts to solve critical technical, operational and human performance problems that impact the interoperability of naval systems.  We also support NAVSEA's Strike Force Interoperability (SFI) program in the area of systems certification including the analysis of trouble reports and impacts on operator workload.

Operational Systems Safety

Our team of military systems safety experts provide specialized systems safety engineering support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, NAVSEA, PEOs and the Weapon System Explosive Safety Review Board (WSESRB). Our team provides operational safety support throughout the entire life-cycle, from development and acquisition to the deployment of ships, aircraft and battle groups, by performing extensive systems safety analysis and applying the Navy’s rigorous safety requirements.

Systems Engineering

BCI solves difficult engineering problems including missile systems failure analysis, requirements traceability, test planning and analysis, and systems design review. We develop conceptual future naval force level scenarios based on future global economic and geopolitical forecasts.

Training & Training Support Systems

BCI provides personnel with extensive US Navy operational and training expertise to support research psychologists and human factors engineers working numerous research and development projects in pursuit of effective systems design, manning, and training solutions across all naval warfare areas.

IT Security

BCI Network Engineers will perform the necessary tasks to receive an ATO so that you can attach your system to a military network, SIPRNet, and NIPRNet. We have provided the critical services necessary to receive ATOs for various systems in the NAVY, USMC, and USAF.

Radar and Communication Systems

BCI develops radar and communications systems for government and commercial clients. Our experienced hardware and software team has expertise in radar signal processing using commercial hardware and open-architecture software development standards. 

Weather Programs

BCI currently develops weather radar processors for US Navy and Air Force tactical radars using our proprietary 'through-the-sensor' modular processing algorithms. We also develop a line of communications hardware and software solutions for government and military use.
